This painting, depicts the scene described in St John's Gospel in Chapter 20 verse 8. The concentric construc-tion intended to symbolise the realisation by the “other disciple” (in orange attire) and is contrasted by the frustration of Peter (in green) who thinks – seeing the empty tomb – that he must forever remain unforgiven.
The painting is on permanent display in Holy Trinity Church, Amberley, Gloucesterhire UK.
